IS 15840 : 2009 Determinaion of Volume of Wate and Water Level in Lakes and Reservoirs

1 SCOPE

This standard deals with survey of the topography of lakes and reservoirs for the determination of volume of live storage and the determination of water level, the objective being to establish a relation between water level and volume. Conventional surveying methods and electronic distance measurement (EDM) and global positioning system (GPS), total station methods are included.
