1. Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes requirements and the methods of sampling and test for kerosene type aviation turbine fuels, high flash point type, generally used by Navy on aircraft gas turbine engines on aircraft carrier.

1.2 This standard does not purport to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
