IS 15873 : 2010 : Hydrometric Determination - Unstable Channels and Ephemeral Streams

1. Scope

This standard deals with the measurement of stage and discharge and the establishment and operation of a gauging station on an unstable channel and/or ephemeral stream. It covers additional requirementsand general considerations specifically related to sandchannel streams that are described in the measurementmethods in the various Indian Standards as referred.
