1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 1) covers general guidelinesfor construction project management.

1.2 The aspects regarding project formulation andappraisal up to the stage of preparation of preliminaryproposals for financial approval are not covered in thisstandard. The scope of this standard, therefore, coversthe stages subsequent to the stage of approval (whendecision to implement the project including itsfinancing is taken) till commissioning and handing overof the project.
