This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical to ISO 8454 : 2024 'Cigarettes - Determination of carbon monoxide in the vapour phase of cigarette smoke - NDIR method' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Tobacco and Tobacco Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
