IS 16045 : 2013 : Copper Alloy Screw - Down Stop Valves and Stop and Check Valves for Marine Application

1. Scope

This standard specifies requirements for flanged copper alloy screw-down stop valves from 15 to 400 mm nominal sizes of the following types used for water, air, oil or steam upto 120°C:

a) Globe stop valve known as screw down screw lift valve (SDSL valve);

b) Angle stop valve known as screw down screw lift valve (SDSL RA valve);

c) Globe stop and check valve known as screw down non-return valve (SDNR valve); and

d) Angle stop and check valve known as screw down non-return valve (SDNR RA valve).
