This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 61951-1 : 2017 ‘Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes - Secondary sealed cells and batteries for portable applications - Part 1: Nickel-cadmium’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Secondary cells and Batteries Sectional Committee of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
