This Indian Standard (Part 8) which is identical with IEC 62321-8 : 2017 ‘Determination of certain substances in electrotechnical products — Part 8: Phthalates in polymers by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), gas chromatography-mass spectrometry using a pyrolyzer/thermal desorption accessory (Py-TD-GC-MS)’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Standardization of Environmental Aspects of Electrical and Electronics Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
