NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8330 : 2022 ‘Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Vocabulary’, issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation(s) of the Rubber and Rubber Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2014, which was identical with ISO 8330 : 2007 'Rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies - Vocabulary’ to align the vocabulary used for rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies with International Standard on the subject.
