1 Scope

1.1 This specification covers bubbles, ground, unground andmoulded or fabricated, either in cylindrical or circular formintended for use in precision surveying, inspection, and generallevelling purposes.

1.2 The requirement of this specification shall also apply tomounted bubbles.

1.2.1 As mountings are designed to suit special purposes in thediverse engineering practices, this specification does not coverdetails of those fitments.
