1. Scope

This standard describes a baseline profile, based on open standards for a High Definition (HD) integrated Digital Television (iDTV) receiver for the reception of digital terrestrial and optionally satellite and/or cable television signals. This profile is based predominantly on Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) standards.
