NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 3864-2 : 2016 ‘Graphical symbols - Safety colours and safety signs - Part 2: Design principles for product safety labels’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Basic Standards Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
