1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard prescribes requirements and methods of sampling and test for ready mixed paint for road marking to Indian Standard color golden yellow, and white and black. The material is used for marking roads and highways and in airports for traffic control. The material is also known as traffic paint.

1.2 White and yellow materials are used for traffic control and black material is used for painting kerb stones and traffic islands.
