This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with IEC TR 62061-1 : 2010 ‘Guidance on the application of ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 in the design of safety-related control systems for machinery’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Safety of Machinery — Electrotechnical Aspect Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
