NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 62061:2021 ‘Safety of machinery Functional safety of safety-related control systems’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Safety of Machinery - Electrotechnical Aspects Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
