This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with IEC 61496-3 : 2018 ‘Safety of machinery — Electro-sensitive protective equipment — Part 3: Particular requirements for active optoelectronic protective devices responsive to diffuse reflection (AOPDDR)’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Safety of Machinery – Electrotechnical Aspects Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
