This Indian Standard (Part 4/Sec 3) which is identical with IEC/TS 61496-4-3 : 2015 ‘Safety of Machinery - Electro-sensitive protective equipment - Part 4-3: Particular requirements for equipment using vision based protective devices (VBPD) - Additional requirements when using stereo vision techniques (VBPDST)’ issued by International Electrotechnical Commission was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Safety of Machinery-Electrotechnical Aspect Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
