1. Scope

1.1 This Indian Standard prescribes requirements for the establishment, implementation, maintenance and improvement of Eco-friendly Non-coal Mining Operations Management System.

1.2 The requirements given in this Indian Standard are applicable to any organization engaged in the field of non-coal mining operations, regardless of its size, type, location or level of maturity.
