NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 22610 : 2018 —Surgical drapes, gowns and clean air suits, used as medical devices, for patients, clinical staff and equipment — Test method to determine the resistance to wet bacterial penetration’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Technical Textiles for Medtech Application Sectional Committee and approval of the Textile Division Council.
