NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 4) (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 60974-4 : 2016 ‘Arc welding equipment - Part 4: Periodic inspection and testing’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electric Welding Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
