NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 60974-8 : 2021 ‘Arc welding equipment - Part 8: Gas consoles for welding and plasma cutting systems’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Electric Welding Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
