1. SCOPE

This standard specifies:

• the physical and chemical tests on raw reclaimedisobutene-isoprene (IIR) rubber; and

• standard materials, standard test formulations, equipment, and processing methods forevaluating the vulcanization characteristics, and the mechanical properties of reclaimed isobutene-isoprene (IIR) rubber.
