1. SCOPE

This standard covers the general definitions and abbreviations which are common for RFID used in automotive applications and the different applications of RFID including Electronic Toll Collection (ETC), Parking Fee Collection (PFC), and Vehicle Identification, etc. The standard highlights the basic architecture and test requirements of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags and transceivers for Electronic Toll Collection ‘ETC’ application.
