NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 29463-1 : 2017 ‘High efficiency filters and filter media for removing particles from air - Part 1: Classification, performance, testing and marking’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division council.

This standard supersedes IS 16753 (Part 1) : 2018/ISO 29463-1 : 2011 ‘High-efficiency filters and filter media for removing particles in air: Part 1 Classification, performance testing and marking’.
