NATIONAL FOREWORD

This draft standard (First Revision) which is identical to ISO 12108 : 2018 ‘Metallic materials - Fatigue testing - Fatigue crack growth method’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Mechanical Testing of Metals Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2018 which was identical with ISO 12108 : 2012. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 12108 : 2018 under dual numbering system to harmonize it with the latest developments that have taken place at international level.
