1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements, methods of sampling and tests for polycarbonate protective shield.

1.2 Polycarbonate protective shield is intended for use by the public safety organizations or others who might be exposed to attack and assault in the course of their duties, for use as personal protection equipment in operational situations and in training etc.

1.3 This standard is not applicable for bullet and explosion proof protective shields.
