NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Part 2/Sec 31) which is identical with IEC 62676-2-31 : 2019 ‘Video surveillance systems for use in security applications — Part 2-31: Live streaming and control based on web services’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Alarms and Electronic Security Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics and Information Technology Division Council.
This Standard along with IS/IEC 60839-11-31 : 2016 and IS 16910 (Part 2/Sec 32) : 2020 replaces IS 16910 (Part 2/Sec 3) : 2018.
This Indian Standard is published in five parts. The other parts in this series are:

The text of IEC Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
a) Wherever the words ‘International Standard’ appear referring to this standard, they should be read as ‘Indian Standard’.
b) Comma (,) has been used as a decimal marker, while in Indian Standards, the current practice is to use a point (.) as the decimal marker.
