NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with IEC 60584-3 : 2021 ‘Thermocouples - Part 3: Extension and compensating cables - Tolerances and identification system’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Basic Industrial Process Measurement And Control Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard is part of a series of standards comprising the following parts under the title ‘Thermocouples’:
