1. SCOPE

This standard prescribes the testing methodology and equipment description for testing the requirements prescribed or otherwise for different types of processed glass like toughened safety glass, laminated safety glass, heat strengthened glass and insulating glazing unit, meant for general purposes such as for use in glazing windows, facades, doors and other architectural purposes.
