NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian standard (Part 5) which is identical to ISO 16140-5 : 2020 ‘Microbiology of the food chain - Method validation - Part 5: Protocol for factorial interlaboratory validation for non-proprietary methods’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Food Hygiene, Safety Management and Other Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
This Indian Standard is published in six parts which are identical adoptions of their corresponding ISO standards. The other parts in this series are:
