This Indian Standard (Part 9/Sec 2) which is identical to IEC 61800-9-2 : 2023 ‘Adjustable speed electrical power drive systems (PDS) - Part 9-2: Ecodesign for motor systems - Energy efficiency determination and classification’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Power Electronics Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
