NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) is identical ISO 12004-2 : 2021 ‘Metallic materials - Determination of forming-limit curves for sheet and strip - Part 2: Determination of forming-limit curves in the laboratory’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Mechanical Testing of Metals Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2019. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 12004-2 : 2021 under dual numbering system to harmonize it with the latest developments that have taken place at international level.
