NATIONAL FOREWORD

1. Scope

This standard indicates the types of measurements need to be done in underground openings specifically in power house of river valley projects. Type of measurements to be done has been recommended and its role in assessing the stability of structure has also been discussed. Criteria of choice and location of measuring instrument are also indicated.
