NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 9512 : 2019 ‘Cigarettes - Determination of ventilation - Definitions and measurement principles’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standard on recommendation of the Tobacco and Tobacco Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.

This Indian Standard was first published in 2019 by adoption of ISO 9512 : 2002 ‘Cigarettes - Determination of ventilation - Definitions and measurement principles’ under dual numbering system. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 9512 : 2019.
