IS 1720 : 1978 Specification for Cotton Sewing Threads

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes constructional details and other particulars of43 varieties of cotton sewing threads, unbleached, bleached or dyed.

1.2 This standard does not specify the type of finish and feel of the sewingthread, nor does it specify the degree of whiteness of the bleached thread orthe colour of the dyed threads.
