NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 12165 : 2019 ‘Tools for moulding - Components of compression and injection moulds and die casting dies - List of equivalent terms and symbols’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Metal Forming Machines Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2019 which was identical with ISO 12165 : 2000. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 12165 : 2019
