This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO 7097-1 : 2004 ‘Nuclear fuel technology - Determination of uranium in solutions, uranium hexafluoride and solids - Part 1: Iron (II) reduction/potassium dichromate oxidation titrimetric method’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Nuclear Energy for Peaceful Applications Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
