1. Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements for single use and reusable bio-protective coveralls intended for medical use.

1.2 The bio-protective coveralls conforming to this standard may be supplied in sterile as well as unsterile condition, as per the agreement between the buyer andthe seller.

1.3 This standard does not address the overall construction and components, or interfaces of garments or other factors during actual use which can affect theoverall protection offered by coverall.
