NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 4) which is identical with ISO 18079-4 : 2018 ‘Ships and marine technology - Servicing of inflatable life-saving appliances - Part 4: Marine evacuation system’ issued by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendations of the Marine Engineering and Safety Aids Sectional Committee and approval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
