NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 15708-2 : 2017 ' Non-destructive testing - Radiation methods for computed tomography - Part 2: Prinicples, equipment and samples' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Non-destructive Testing Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

The Committee had decided to adopt this standard under dual numbering system to align it with the latest version of ISO 15708-2:2017.
