NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC TR 62978 : 2017 ‘HVDC installations - Guidelines on asset management’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the HVDC Power Systems Sectional Committee Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
