NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 15) which is identical with ISO 5667-15 : 2009 ‘Water quality - Sampling Part 15 Guidance on the preservation and handling of sludge and sediment samples’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Water Quality Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
