NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 23) which is identical with ISO 5667-23 : 2011 ‘Water quality - Sampling - Part 23: Guidance on passive sampling in surface waters’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Water Quality Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.
