NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 25) which is identical with ISO 19458 : 2006 ‘Water quality - Sampling for microbiological analysis’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Water Quality Sectional Committee and approval of the Chemical Division Council.

‘Under the general title ‘Water quality - Sampling’, this standard is being published in several other parts. This part is an adoption of ISO 19458 : 2006.
