NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 18738-2 : 2012 ‘Measurement of ride quality - Part 2: Escalators and moving walks’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Lifts, Escalators and Moving Walks Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
