NATIONAL FOREWORD

1.This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with ISO 23500-2 : 2019 ‘Preparation and quality management of fluids for haemodialysis and related therapies - Part 2: Water treatment equipment for haemodialysis applications and related therapies’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Products Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
