NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8543 : 2020 ‘Textile floor coverings - Methods for determination of mass’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Wool, Wool Products and Textile Floor Coverings Sectional Committee and approval of the Textiles Division Council.
