NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard which is identical with IEC TR 62263 : 2005 ‘Live working - Guidelines for the installation and maintenance of optical fiber cables on overhead power lines’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Tools and Equipment for Live Working Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
