NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 1) which is identical with ISO/TR 20218-1 : 2018 ‘Robotics - Safety design for industrial robot systems - Part 1: End-effectors’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Industrial and Production Automation Systems and Robotics Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
