This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with ISO 5841-3 : 2013 ‘Implants for surgery - Cardiac pacemakers - Part 3: Low-profile connectors (IS-1) for implantable pacemakers’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Instruments Sectional Committee and approval of the Medical Equipment and Hospital Planning Division Council.
